at the Buford Pusser Park in Adamsville, Tennessee
Saturday, May 22
Buford Pusser Beauty Pageant ages 0 - 6 Years: 10 am - 12 pm, Judges Lunch: 12 pm - 2 pm, Ages 7 - Mrs will begin at 2 pm - 4 pm at the Adamsville Community Center at 304 Blanton Street
Wednesday, May 26
Carnival begins tonight and continues each night thru the close of the festival on Saturday night
7 pm - Wrestling
Thursday, May 27
7 pm - "Music in the Park" under the pavilion Featuring: "Kut Loose Band" Join us for 50s and 60s Music there will be a Best Dressed and Bop Contest...Wear your poodle skirts and rolled up blue jeans.
7 pm - Gospel Music at the "Marty" Featuring: Josh and Ashley Franks, Ricky Lovelace Family and Adamsville Chief of Police Bill McCall
Friday, May 28
9 am - Bus Tour of local Buford Pusser sites led by Buford's daughter Dwana and historian Steve Sweat. Please call Renee at the museum to make your reservation 731-632-4080. The cost is $50 per person or $80 for two people and includes lunch which will be served in the courtroom at the courthouse in Selmer.
6 pm - "Adamsville Idol" talent contest with $250 in cash prizes under the pavilion.
Following "Adamsville Idol" will be a showing of the original "Walking Tall" movie.
Saturday, May 29 - THE BIG DAY!!!
8:00 am - Car Show with judging at 12 pm awards at 3 pm
8:30 am - 5K Run at Buford Pusser Home and Museum Registration between 6:45 am and 8:15 am
10 am - 1 pm - Health Fair at the "Marty"
10 am - 5 pm - Fine Arts and Crafts Downtown
10:30 am - Parade
11:00 am - Opening Cermonies at the pavilion
3 pm - Dewey Phillips Sign Dedication at the pavilion
3:30 pm - Rockabilly Music at the pavilion

5 pm - Clay Wagoner Memorial Bluegrass Show
